Wow, what a day this was back in July. I was fortunate enough to be given the honour to provide Becky & Michael’s wedding photography for their wedding at Becky’s family home in the Cotswolds. I drive past this house on my way to other weddings, and stopped by the cows coming in for milking a a fair few times as well, I feel very privileged to take a look on the other side of the wall. The day was perfect from the get go, it had been raining all week (more about that later) but when I arrived the sun was shining. Becky was getting ready in her bedroom with her bridesmaids and there was a beautiful Savanna Miller dress hanging on the wardrobe.
The ceremony was held at the local village church and it was standing room only. Some mega hymns, a very bubbly vicar and more confetti than you could imagine (is there ever too much?) and boom we were walking back up to the house for a bustling champagne reception in the garden. The day really kicked on from there, everyone getting adequately oiled before the heavens opened in a big big way. Fortunately the marquee was a short walk from the garden.
Into the evening everyone was treated to some amazing speeches and delicious food from Jo Parker (Link) before the guys from Real Love (Link) absolutely smashed it out the park, with a great mix of soul and disco to get everyone going. I think I packed up at about 11, I didn’t want to leave, the party was so good. The guys absolutely nailed it, if Carlsberg did weddings….
Here are a few of my favourites from the day, honestly I could have stuck the whole album on here it was that hard to choose this lot.
